New Multi-Family Project in Solvang, California: 539 Alisal Road Nears Completion

We’re thrilled to announce that our latest multi-family project at 539 Alisal Road in Solvang, California is nearing completion!

This new development stands proudly as a 3-story building, featuring 11 thoughtfully designed units and convenient carport parking on the first floor.

It’s a project that truly reflects the charm and unique architectural heritage of Solvang, often referred to as the “Danish Capital of America.”

A Nod to Solvang’s Rich Danish Heritage

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Santa Ynez Valley, Solvang is a town that transports you straight to the streets of Denmark.

Founded in 1911 by a group of Danish-Americans, Solvang was designed to be a slice of Denmark on American soil, and it has succeeded beautifully. The town’s architecture, with its half-timbered facades, thatched roofs, and stork-adorned windmills, is a tribute to its Danish roots.

Our design for 539 Alisal Road is true to this unique architectural style, blending seamlessly with the town’s aesthetic while offering modern amenities and comforts.

Each of the 11 units has been crafted with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that residents will enjoy both the historical charm of Solvang and the conveniences of contemporary living.

It’s no secret that housing in California, especially on the Central Coast, is not where it needs to be. With rents through the roof and a shortage of houses, multi-family homes are on an upward trend.

This new multi-family project will be a three-story home with a roof deck. This plan also calls for future garage conversion to give more conditional space. 

With the grading complete, rebar and plumbing in, the concrete mat slab was poured and dried. The framers have been hard at work to get all the walls and stories up. Electrical, plumbing and HVAC are well underway.

Palladium luxury condos is a new mixed-use build in the heart of Grover Beach.

A four story building with commercial retail space and luxury condo units, Palladium will help bring more housing to the Central Coast.

With grading and rebar complete, it’s time for mat slab. This concrete pour took 50 cement trucks and 502 yards of concrete to achieve!

Pouring began in the early hours of the morning to beat the hot sun.

The first and second story are now well underway. 

Our team routinely conducts inspections to ensure the construction continues to go as smoothly as possible. 

Certain jurisdictions require inspections at only certain stages of the build, but we find regular inspections will help catch issues sooner and prevent costly changes or repairs down the road.

The 3rd and 4th story walls are up! On to siding.
